Uninvited visitor
A caller on London Road April 6 at 11:52 a.m. reported signs of an intruder in their shed. On arrival police saw the shed door ajar and the interior in disarray. Feces was reported left by the intruder on the shed floor and determined to be animal, not human.
Tuesday, April 1
12:10 a.m. — A tree was reported down and blocking traffic on Old Logging Road. The highway department was notified and police taped off the immediate area to discourage traffic until the issue was resolved.
12:29 a.m. — A man, age and condition unknown, was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital via Pound Ridge volunteer ambulance.
1:27 a.m. — A man, age and condition unknown was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital by Pound Ridge ambulance.
7:02 a.m. — A panic alarm was accidentally activated by a Westchester Avenue resident. There was no problem.
4:00 p.m. — One person, age, gender, address unknown, was taken to Stamford Hospital by Pound Ridge volunteer ambulance after a crash on Long Ridge Road. Police say the car was towed from the scene. The condition of the driver at the time of the accident was unknown.
4:35 p.m. — No summonses were issued to drivers traveling on High View Road during a traffic enforcement detail.
6:06 p.m. — One driver traveling on Westchester Avenue was issued a summons for failure to notify the motor vehicle department of a change of address.
6:45 p.m. — During a traffic enforcement detail on Westchester Avenue no tickets were given as everyone was driving perfectly.
Wednesday, April 2
12:05 a.m. — A man who requested medical assistance refused attention after Pound Ridge ambulance crew members arrived.
11:20 a.m. — A woman was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital by Pound Ridge ambulance for an unknown condition.
10:00 p.m. — During a radar surveillance of traffic on Westchester Avenue, no violations were observed.
11:00 p.m. — A caller on Westchester Avenue reported a suspicious person outside a restaurant; police on arrival spoke to a man who was power washing a pizzeria and there was no problem.
Thursday, April 3
5:30 p.m. — A larceny reported at a home on Upper Shad Road is under investigation and no details were provided.
9:00 p.m. — A caller on Upper Shad Road reported a person walking on the road they found suspicious. Police searching the area couldn’t locate the described person.
Friday, April 4
7:45 a.m — A tree blocking the roadway on Upper Shad Road was reported to the highway department for removal.
4:10 p.m. — Police responded to an address on Robin Hill Road after a caller reported a heavy odor of gas in the vicinity. Officers arrived to sniff around but couldn’t find the source of the smell or anything unusual.
5:35 p.m. — One driver traveling on Westchester Avenue was issued a summons for failure to stop for a stop sign.
Saturday, April 5
10:25 a.m. — A traffic detail on Lower Trinity Pass Road found no drivers in violation.
4:50 p.m. — A driver traveling on Westchester Avenue was issued three summonses for speeding, failure to obey a traffic signal, and driving without a valid license.
Sunday, April 6
4:00 a.m. — A man who accidentally called for medical assistance said he’d called the emergency number in error.
10:20 a.m. — A man was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital by Pound Ridge ambulance for an unknown condition.
5:45 p.m. — A caller on Miller Road reported a suspicious black SUV pulling into peoples’ driveways. Police searching the area couldn’t find the described vehicle.
